An American YouTuber has been imprisoned for 5 years in Ukraine, and allegedly tortured, for making videos.

Yeah, it's not what people want to hear, but AI is probably a new class of moral panic that could potentially become far worse than things like Year 2K Bug (in various senses like hurting artists, already is); and I feel we should take these things seriously. We don't ''need'' AI

The amount of AI-generated garbage infesting search results is fucking maddening. Google Images is unusable without adding “before:2022” to the search. God help you find a human-written tutorial or product review.
