@aonanuga1956 Show is how it looks like during the day, don't forget that GUO bus passengers were kidnapped along Benin/Ore road. Hope APC government prodigal sons and family members are not lurking around the road looking for victims.

The National Assembly is complicit in the atrocities happening in Nigeria today. The moment they begin to take responsibility and not act as helpless children most of the nonsense happening in Nigeria today will begin to stop!

While you guys are fighting who has a right to win primaries and who has the duty to be VP, the ruling government through INEC and court may proscribe ADC A few days before INEC came with its sledge hammer a lady who knows the workings of INEC told me that the government would try and use the court to proscribe ADC. If there is a Plan B put it motion now if you want to be on the ballot. Tinubu is mortally afraid for Peter Obi on the ballot. He cannot campaign rigorously. And the country is in terrible state.
Dr Yunusa Tanko@YunusaTanko

Verifiable fact: They plan to deliver judgment on the 5th of May. Depending on the outcome, they may direct the matter back to the High Court. The opposition will then have only three working days (6th, 7th, and 8th) to take a decision, with the 9th and 10th falling on the weekend and marking the deadline for submission to INEC. This appears to be an orchestrated move by anti-democratic and centrifugal forces against one person, His Excellency Peter Obi. We shall overcome, insha Allah.

This man was kidnapped on Thursday, last week, while doing business at his shop in Benin. The kidnappers made him do this video pressuring his wife to raise ransom money for his release. Look at the abomination that Nigeria has become. This is so disheartening!✍️

NPF FOILS RAILWAY VANDALISM SYNDICATE, RECOVERS ₦400 MILLION ASSETS, OPERATIVES REJECT ₦100 MILLION BRIBE The Nigeria Police Force, through the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS), has recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of two (2) suspects involved in the large-scale vandalisation of critical national infrastructure and the recovery of railway materials valued at over Four Hundred Million Naira (₦400,000,000). The suspects, Chisom Goodnews (32) and Ahmed Adamu (22), were arrested on 9th April 2026 at about 1800hrs in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, following credible intelligence. The operation led to the interception of a trailer truck conveying approximately sixty (60) tonnes of vandalised railway tracks and sleepers. The materials were concealed under sacks of groundnut shells in a deliberate attempt to evade detection while being transported from Bauchi State to Ilorin, Kwara State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of the truck was contracted for the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦2,500,000) to transport the vandalised materials, while further findings indicate an organised supply chain linked to receivers of such stolen infrastructure. During the investigation, the operatives involved in the operation reportedly rejected an offer of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) made in a bid to compromise the process and secure the release of the suspects and exhibits. The trailer truck used in conveying the items has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the syndicate, including the intended receivers, and to recover additional exhibits. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, commends the operatives for their courage, discipline, and incorruptibility, noting that such acts exemplify the core values of the Force. The Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to safeguarding the nation’s assets from vandalism. Those who never entered the walls of university, never value education. APC has been destroying, downgrading and disgracing all our institutions since Tinubu took over. Even outside the shores of this country we are no longer respected and valued.

PRESS STATEMENT ODUDUWA HALL NOT AVAILABLE FOR PETER OBI’s LECTURE — OAU The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, wish to clarify the circumstances surrounding the proposed lecture by His Excellency, Peter Obi, at the University. The general public is hereby informed that a particular group within the Students’ body extended an invitation to the former Presidential Candidate and two-term Governor of Anambra State to deliver a lecture within the University premises. The University authorities were not duly informed of the status and calibre of the invited guest until Friday, just a day before the scheduled programme. It is important to note that events involving high-profile personalities of such standing require adequate prior notification to the University authorities because it will enable the institution to make necessary logistical and security arrangements, including proper liaison with relevant security agencies such as the Nigeria Police and the Department of State Services (DSS), in order to ensure the safety of the guest, members of the University community and the general public. Consequently, given the short notice and the attendant inability to complete these critical arrangements, the University authorities could not approve the use of Oduduwa Hall for the event as requested by the organisers. The decision was taken purely in the interest of safety, orderliness and adherence to established protocols governing the use of University facilities, adding that it is not, in any way, a reflection of disregard for the person or status of His Excellency, Peter Obi, whom the University holds in high esteem. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire is, and remains committed to supporting intellectual engagements and hosting distinguished personalities, provided that due process is followed and adequate notice is given. Members of the University community, students and the general public are therefore enjoined to always comply with laid-down procedures in planning events within the University because we all are partners in progress for the overall development of the University. — Source: OAU News Update
