BREAKING: French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he's dissolving the national assembly and calls for snap elections on June 30 and July 7. The announcement came after European parliament election exit polls show right-wing parties trouncing the competition. Macron is worried that a "rise of nationalists" is a danger for France and the rest of Europe. "France needs a clear majority in serenity and harmony. To be French, at heart, it is about choosing to write history, not be driven by it," Macron said. The European Parliament election results indicate that the European Union is shifting to the right as citizens appear to be getting tired of mass immigration.
