Deeply sad to learn of Christina’s passing. She was a powerhouse. Kind, principled and decent. Watching her work a room was always a masterclass in how you make people feel heard and seen. My thoughts go to Keith, Jack, Lewis & all those who loved her.

I hope I’m proven wrong but this feels like the Scottish Govt is passing the buck and capitulating to a loud minority - and it is a minority - who don’t want LGBT people to live their lives free from hate and discrimination. We deserve better than this.

What discussions have happened with UK Govt? What assurances has SG received that the years of work carried out by the Expert Advisory Group, on the Bill consultation, committee evidence sessions will lead to a UK wide comprehensive ban with no loopholes & is trans inclusive?
