@brad_polumbo A couple of things: The best comedy is rooted in exaggerating a reality to highlight it's ridiculousness. This is not comedy, but mocking for the sake of causing harm. Also, if this was a white comic doing blackface, you'd never hear the end of it.

I've ardently defended Erika Kirk from the ostensibly serious podcasters & media stars defaming her and baselessly implicating her in crimes.
But my feelings about the comedian Druski's mockery of Erika Kirk are more complex.
For years, I, and many others on the Right, defended edgy and wildly offensive comedy, like mocking trans people and even joking about horrible things like domestic violence, the Holocaust, and AIDS.
How can anyone on the Right really argue, in that context, that a comedian mocking a widow is somehow beyond the pale... without being totally hypocritical?

Only reason Candace Owens is pissed at Nick Shirley is because she was too busy trying to humiliate a widow to actually leave her comfortable house and go do what he’s doing.
She can only beat on that “Erika Kirk is evil…” drum for so long before people get bored.
Jealousy and envy are horrible things. Sad to see it happen to someone whom I used to admire.

Lithuanian-Soviet psychologist Bluma Zeigarnik first studied the phenomenon after professor and Gestalt-psychologist Kurt Lewin noticed that a waiter had better recollections of still unpaid orders. However, after the completion of the task — after everyone had paid — the waiter was unable to remember any more details of the orders. Candace, Alex Jones, and other idiot influencers use this everyday to get audiences hooked and coming back for more. That’s why she hasn’t completed/resolved one single conspiracy theory about the death of Charlie Kirk. That’s why ‘everything will be revealed’ in the next episode. The next episode never completes the idea and the audience cannot get it out of their heads- so they come back for more. A never ending cycle of psychological manipulation. Don’t fall for it.
