Since when male gamers ashamed to say that they prefer hot and attractive characters? They literally saying it in your face all over the internet.
And not only them, many women like me saying same thing that attractive characters are making games appealing.

The problem isn't just the female activists, it's also the male gamers. Why? Because they're afraid to just admit they don't play these women for plot, they play them because they're hot. These games aren't my thing, I don't have any interest in playing as a woman and if that's your thing fine, but at least be a honest about it.
When you ask some of these gamers, they're so simpering that they'll say "but her story of x is so great" because they feel ashamed or they're concerned what the women reading will think of them.
In GoW you would have to be engrossed in Faye's story because it's narrative driven. Nobody cares what the narrative of Stellar Blade is...she's hot and the gameplay is fun. Just be honest about it and stop with this nonsense of "see, look... I do like women in gaming."

Yesterday, these same middle aged bimbos were gleefully writing posts about how evil gamers were for rejecting Fey in God of War: Laundry. Now, just 24 hours later, these same hags are bitter that people AREN'T criticizing this female character.

Time and time again, Japanese developers nail the aesthetics of female characters, and yet Western developers often fail.
This one isn't something out of left field, either, as it features an anticipated character rather than the MC's wife, like GoW: Laufey. Claire Redfield is an iconic character, and here they nailed the balance between realism, beauty, proportions, and allure.
Another interesting thing here is the multiplatform release instead of PS5 only... console exclusivity is pretty much a thing of the past, RIP console wars.
