Yes it’s an employer’s market but companies who low-ball candidates just because they can are being short-sighted. ALL of my job offer negotiations clients who were strong-armed into accepting a low offer are still looking for other jobs. Companies are getting what they pay for.

@gerta_ma There is often a lot of available budget for the right person. Good advice. In some situations it can be worth making the range up-side quite high if in interview you show knowledge about realtime value contribution impacting overall performance
