THE SIGNAL-BASED SELLING PLAYBOOK
How to Stop Cold Calling and Start High Probability Prospecting
The Death of "Spray and Pray"
The era of loading 1k contacts into sequencer and hoping for 1% reply rate is over. In modern B2B sales, volume is not primary metric of success..proximity is.
To dominate your market, you must stop looking for "leads" and start looking for Signals.
A signal is a data point that tells you two things:
1. Who is looking (Intent).
2. Why they need to buy right now (Triggers).
I've created a 14 page step by step guide to help you understand how to think about sales signals, where to find them, and how to use them with examples and the "why" behind each.

@TechSalesMerc @BowtiedCappy Zyns stacked on the hospital tray is crazy 😂🤝

Got some cool Tech Sales lore to share:
Was just chatting with my good pal @BowtiedCappy about some unrelated matters and this memory came up
Mid December, I was an SMB AE, was in the hospital for two weeks hooked up to antibiotics and constant streams of Morphine and other heavy pain meds
Day After surgery, I was taking demos and running my pipeline
I have practically zero recollection of that whole period due to the heavy doses of drugs
But, I went on a straight generational run and had the best month (monthly quota) I had in my two years at that org. Closed more deals on the demo w/ no follow up calls in that two weeks out of the whole two years.
Got an SDR promoted by closing down a long shot demo for him and getting his deals closed metrics where they needed to be
Man, I was unstoppable, was hilarious every time I moved one to closed won cause everybody knew I was in the hospital, I just pushing them through, one after the other, ended 200%+ to quota that month
Maybe the morphine just made me not care, maybe it was luck, hell, I don’t even remember a single conversation
That’s one of my cooler tech sales stories
If you think I’m exaggerating anything, ask @ImAntCalabrese , he was witness.
