@SamaHoole Dad used to love Dripping. Apparently my Grandfather was a huge fan too. Dad tried to get me and my Sister hooked on Bread and Dripping and failed, because no, just no. Now I find I quite like it..

And the doctor says it's healthier." 1983: "Cut down on dripping. Cut down on lard. Cut down on butter. Cut down on all of it." 1984: "The official advice is in. Saturated fat is the enemy." 1992: "Build your meals around bread, pasta, and rice. Keep the butter to a minimum." 1993: "One in seven adults is obese. We're calling it a concern." 2000s: "Offal? My nan used to make that. I wouldn't touch it now." 2020s: "I don't really cook. I just heat things up. It's easier." 2026: "Have you tried the jab? Everyone's on it now." You: noticing that every decade Britain has been told to eat less of what built it, and the country has got fatter, sicker, and more medicated with every passing year of compliance.

The conduct of a tiny minority in the House of Lords who have used every tactic imaginable to make sure the Assisted Dying Bill fails has been awful. I have long believed the Lords is simply not fit for purpose as a second chamber. This has cemented my view hard, and I imagine will make others realise just how ludicrous our legislative systems are. Sad day.

@CorporalMum Even though she had only dreamt it she was still mad as hell when she woke up! Still took some talking to calm her down too. I'm also sure she went through my phone when I went for a shower.
