The main issue is that AI requires massive GPU power, and AWS is too expensive and centralized. Therefore to fix this, io.net acts as the "Airbnb of GPUs." It aggregates chips from data centers and gamers into one massive cluster. ​ The Alpha is It’s cheaper than permissionless & AWS. If AI is the gold rush, $IO sells the shovels. 2. $TAO (Bittensor) The main issue is that OpenAI is a "black box", you don't know how this works or who is really controlling the switch. To fix this, bittensor serves as a decentralized market for intelligence. Think of it as "Bitcoin for AI." ​The Alpha is that subnets compete to provide the best models. The best code wins the money. The Alpha is we are moving from "Chatting with AI" to "AI doing work for us." This is the structure for that shift. I have stopped gambling on meme coins with "AI" in the name.
