@rdotapps @rpimagazine Thanks! I'm using a shunt resistor to convert current to voltage and an operational amplifier to amplify and feed the voltage to an ADC.

@DanInvents @rpimagazine Using the RP2040 as the front-panel monitor is a nice split. Are you sensing current with a shunt amp or a dedicated monitor IC?

Now the mandrel for the fiberglass water rocket is complete (tap on the image to enlarge). I have glued the PETG 3D-printed sections with Sikaflex 554, an adhesive used in vehicle panel assembly. Next step: reinforcing the cylinder with the glass fiber sleeve. #diy #waterrocket

On the contrary, I will be focusing on doing electronics for Science projects at the University and also for educational purposes. Good luck with your rocketry projects. I'm still very much interested in hearing about those.

After 5 years of selling electronics on @tindie I have decided to close the store to concentrate my time on the things that matter most to me. Thank you all for your support, it has been a very educational experience. I will still fly rockets for fun and educational purposes.

Just got back from the Horizon launch. The flight exceeded our expectations ... by a lot. Currently processing photos and videos from 11 cameras. We'll share those and flight details over the next few days. Here is team Air Command shortly before flight.

Horizon Rising! Full integration test today. Tuesday will be full wet dress rehearsal where we fill it with water, power on all avionics and remotely activate release (rocket will not be pressurised). Painting the booster is later this week. Less than 2 weeks to launch.
