Helloooo #GoogleCloudNext - happy to see people in person for my first trip since the start of the pandemic. Great conversations so far. (My schedule is 100% filled, though.)

Doing a lot on Cloud Sovereignty right now. Still have yet to find the rare birds of “a public country-cloud that works (the US and Chinese hyperscalers not withstanding)” or “end-users who care much about sovereignty until they are forced to”. It’s ok, Europe, I hear you.

@cloudpundit Not really a surprising or sudden move. They have been slow walking the IoT core services for three years. Still, it is true this will likely cause another round of “can we trust Google?”

Wow. Given Google's reputation for shutting down (consumer) services, this won't reassure customers about GCP doing the same, year's notice or not.

@cloudpundit My 4yr olds just got their first sonic the hedgehog comic. The clock is now ticking to see which of them hacks my CLZ comic collectors app to see the mother load list of books hiding in storage.

My 5yo son discovered my comics collection. Forbidden to take kid-inappropriate ones. Discovered that he then promptly went to search for them on ComiXology. I need actual effective parental controls.
