Tim Pool is right in his analysis. The officer was NOT in front of her vehicle until AFTER she backed up. The front tires then accelerate while they are pointed towards the agent, and appear to spin out on the ICE. This is all the information the ICE agent had in the moment. Also, there was no reason for her to back up to leave. The road was clear in front of her and the ICE agents were to the left and right of her car. The ICE agent only ended up in front because she backed up. This leads me to believe she wasn’t just trying to leave. Chat - what do you think?

Look at the angle of the gun on the first and only shot to go through the windshield.

Floyd collapsed while they were trying to get him into the police car. That’s when he first stated he couldn’t breathe. It was a classic cardiopulmonary event most likely ventricular fibrillation but possibly pulmonary arrest given the large amount of fentanyl in his system. The police didn’t recognize he needed immediate medical attention. Time of death from onset of VF is usually 10-60 minutes, it is shorter with pulmonary arrest. After a person dies from VF or pulmonary arrest it is impossible to say which event happened first so the death is recorded as a cardiopulmonary arrest which is exactly what was reported. His autopsy showed no damage to his trachea from the neck compression and if a person can talk their airway is not compromised. When Floyd went unconscious he received aggressive cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the ambulance on the way to the hospital which included airway intubation. Despite what the pathologist stated in court, there was no evidence the neck compression contributed to Floyd’s death. Chauvin’s defense team had experts who correctly pointed this out in court. Our jury system is horribly flawed. As an expert in pupillary function with a major paper cited in almost every neurology and ophthalmology textbook I have given testimony in many cases. I learned that it is impossible to educate jurors on complex medical issues. The verdicts are often wrong. I quit doing the work when I realized my testimony was usually worthless because I didn’t go into academia and the opposing lawyers simply hired someone with a fancy title who lied in court. Putting Chauvin in prison for Floyd’s death was a terrible injustice but not allowing a retrial is even worse. Making a martyr out of a horrible serial criminal who died high on drugs while committing a felony was outrageous.
