@JordanSVP I've always found it weird to have other instances of "the guardian" across my 3 characters, narrative immersion wise so I think letting us have one canonical character that can at least switch between classes of abilities would be pretty cool if not outright what you suggested

I'm gonna say something extremely controversial.
If there were to be a Destiny 3, I would love to see class identities be a thing of the past.
No Warlock, no Titan, no Hunter.
A paracausal being with a huge pool of powers/elements to build upon.
Whether they want to keep Light and Dark idc but I'd love to see players build their own entity, not tied to a class.
