@dieworkwear I thought “I’m not autistic because I don’t take things literally” Then I learned “autistic people take things literally” doesn’t mean they think phrases like raining cats and dogs are literal it means they think phrases like “autistic people take things literally” are literal

If you think an autistic person is "dense" because they asked you clarifying questions, I hate to break it to you, but they needed to ask follow up questions because you didn't explain yourself well enough. Not because they have comprehension issues. Hope that helps 🙃
