@mossiekelleher5 Irony in a sentence there. You did the exact same. There would be a rivalry if Cork actually won a few cups. But they went 7 years between Munsters with no All-Irelands. Other teams also beat Limerick in that time. Loads beat Cork. People are creating a non existent rivalry.

Last 4 results between Limerick and Cork Limerick win by 6 Limerick win by 8 Draw Limerick win by 16 Rivalry. Lol.

I mean, I didn’t. I spoke about the rivalry between these two current teams. Cork have 1 win and 1 draw in big games against Limerick, and didn't win the All-Ireland either year. Limerick beat Cork on the way to multiple Munster and AI titles. It's utter domination with a few blips. Now, that very well could change. Ben is a legend of a player and is the toughness they need. But at the moment, the rivalry is overblown.

Is Limerick vs. Cork really the big rivalry in Hurling? This Limerick team has 5 All-Irelands and 6 Munster titles. Cork...... drew a Munster final. Hardly a real rivalry until Cork win 5 or 6 big titles.

@ExaminerSport Thanks to Liam Sheedy for speaking up so strongly on this. Cork fans have been booing players and free takers during Limerick games for a few years now. mark landers bias towards cork is getting worse every podcast. He’s doing a pro gig and has to show some impartiality

@DanielHussey2 It’s funny how Ben now wants all teams to ‘man up’ and play in a ‘no holds barred’ sort of way. In the recent past Cork hurlers were guilty of diving and taking off their helmets at the slightest touch trying to get players from the opposing teams sent off !

What level are you talking about? Are you saying that because Ryan Giggs played longer than Eden Hazard? It's not about how long but the impact created in the Premier League. Have you seen the kind of excitement that followed Eden Hazard's induction on social media before then? No inducted player has received such. Eden Hazard, arguably the greatest PL winger. His induction is well deserved.

Madness that Ryan Giggs isnt in the hall of fame. He should have been the first player inducted. Hazard was a good player but nowhere near Ryan Giggs level. Just absolute madness

@sampilger TBF it’s embarrassing enough now that Eden Hazard has been inducted. A player who was good one season, poor the next is not HoF worthy compared with a player who was consistent & consistently winning for over 20 years. Off-field issues clearly playing a part in this decision…🤷🏼‍♂️

Ryan Giggs should have been the very first inductee. Now there are 26 players in it and he still isn't there. Is he officially banned? Maybe the Premier League should tell us, because until they put him in, their Hall of Fame will remain an embarrassing mess.

I think winning Munster is a disadvantage you would have been better off coming 3rd like Tipp ! Like they had 3 games played before the final , had good run outs against Kk and Galway !
