📍Update: Carlos Baleba and his agent just got the word this lunchtime from @OfficialBHAFC that @ManUtd has officially made their move 💣 They’ve reached out through the right channels, and it was done respectfully. Baleba’s been told that if a respectable bid comes in, serious talks will start. What’s interesting is that André Onana 🧤is stepping in to help out. He’s using his connections and their shared Cameroon 🇨🇲 background to sway Baleba, telling him that Manchester United is the place to be, even without @ChampionsLeague football.

What I love about them is Forest side is they highlight the value of profiling players in a way that gets them in their dominant zones, in favourable situations to the player. MGW — top central carrier. Murillo — unreal aerially & box defending. Elanga, Aina — wide carriers that can go inside or outside. Yates, Anderson — leggy, duel winners. The game model then becomes clear by taking a player profile first approach, rather than having a system and shoe horning players in.

Gary Neville far too critical of United post-match. It wasn't a polished performance, which we expected anyway, but they've gone to City and deservedly won the game. To focus on the issues and say Amad was the only one to look like a United player was really bizarre.

@ThreadmanChaza Ya that's fair. It's what you get with a lot of young players. Do think it's capable of top 4/5 is coached correctly.

Squad is better than it looks right now, obviously but top 4 still the upper limit, Ten Hag obvs should be doing much better. But… Far too many “if” players, just so fed up of how bad the decision making is across the pitch.

Really lost any interest from this point onwards. Manager intentionally wants basketball type games, and we’ve got some players with really poor decision making and execution across the pitch that exacerbate how bad things look.
