@PSavage88 @NikTek I totally agree with you. However, this is a double edged sword. Imagine if GTA 6 is $90 (worth it). That will provide 10 years of entertainment for us. And then Madden 27 or NBA 2k27 decide to raise their prices to $90. This would immediately collapse the gaming industry.

@Don_Slander @NikTek Yup, and this is why it wont work for other companies. GTA's hype levels are so insanely high (for understandable reasons), people will still buy it if it carried a $90 price tag or higher. Other games trying this will be sending their shit out to die.

I really hope GTA 6 keeps the $70 price tag for the Standard Edition. If the price is higher, the whole gaming industry will probably jump at their first chance to raise game prices for every future AAA game.
