Galileo's Complete Lack of Surprise 2
A story in 2 parts: Some people don't like the truth. Rather disappointing from an author who wrote so powerfully of the abuse of children through "intercision" in his dark Materials.

@soigomaa There comes a point when the benefits of the hormones (not committing suicide for many trans people) outweigh the risks

This might be controversial but why can the transgender community safely take high doses of estrogen or testosterone, but a menopausal woman is told no because it causes cancer, heart attacks or stroke?

@Coleidoscopes I mean, the draft is HIGHLY unlikely to come back. But you DO realize that all men have been legally required to register with the Selective Service since the 80's, right?

@ShamashAran I mean men have been required to register since the 80's, and the consequence of not was being permanently inelligible for things like pell grants, government backed student loans, and a host of other things. Personnally I like the idea of making it tied to voting, and voluntary

“My immigrant parents are in a hospital in LA — and neither of them speaks English.” There was no interpreter on staff, so the doctors asked her to translate. “This is Los Angeles. DONT tell my parents to learn English — that’s your problem, not ours.”

@thekerukeion @MatrixMysteries They don't have a point. The US legally acquired California well over a century before her parents were born. They are not from California originally. They did not live there when the boarder shifted. They CHOSE to come to a country where the necessary language is english

I mean they kind of have a point. Los Angeles was originally part of Mexico before it was bought in 1848 is the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. I’m sure before that point everyone there predominantly spoke Spanish. Historically, the areas of present day Los Angeles was home to the Chumash and Tongva Native American tribes.

@ShamashAran This is why I have come out against all form of gov. backed euthanasia. Government simply cannot resist the slippery-slope of Euthanizing the desperately depressed, or the traumatized, along with the suffering terminally ill. They just can't. Everywhere it's legal this happens.

We can kill lonely autistic kids who don't hurt anyone but not subhuman murdering batshit crazy gorillas who make life dangerous for everyone else? Please explain this to me.
Bernie@Artemisfornow

Oh humans, what are you doing?? This autistic young man between 16-18 years old was euthanised in Holland because he was joyless and terribly lonely. Poor, poor boy, instead of adults loving him and helping him, they chose to kill him instead.

@DisrespectedThe We starve minnesota of any and all federal funding until every program in their state can pass a FEDERAL AUDIT or ALL their services with no more than 4% fraud found in any given service over the year.

I've talked to numerous Democrat voters in Minnesota. I asked them if they'll continue to vote Democrat even after the billions in fraud? Their answer was an astounding YES. I asked why and a majority of them said "because I hate Trump." How do we fight against that mentality?

@MikeMarshallCEO @jeremykauffman Again, "straight" people do not benefit from Promiscuous gay prep being given Prep. Gay people DO rather directly benefit from prenatal care, and its effects. Both when THEY are pre-natal, and the effects of having people in society. muted.

Again, you’re failing to comprehend but calling me dumb. You’re utterly deluded. They disproportionately fund the whole by paying the same tax and taking less out, whilst also taking more children out of tax payer funded care. You are arguing that straight people shouldn’t have to pay for Prep. If that’s the case, you must also argue that gays should get tax relief for all the straight people they are subsidising even more the other way around. Work on your intellectual deficits before calling other people dumb.

@Dothereading @jeremykauffman Only if they’re promiscuous. Do you believe in sterilising those who have unplanned children? They’re not needed after all. If not, you’re blinded by emotion and failing to be rational.

@MikeMarshallCEO @jeremykauffman I am not being emotional in the slightest. I asked what you were trying to imply. I note that you declined to answer. That's rather telling. "there’d be less people without the genetic variants linked to homosexuality, less prosocial behaviours" And THAT is a baseless claim.

@Dothereading @jeremykauffman That has nothing to do with the point. Also, there’d be less people without the genetic variants linked to homosexuality, less prosocial behaviours and gays disproportionately adopt. You’re being entirely emotional and not rational.

@MikeMarshallCEO @jeremykauffman "Prenatal care is disproportionately funded by homosexuals". Disproportionately would be the operable term here, kiddo. and DISPROPORTIONATELY Prep and HIV treatments are paid for by those who don't engage in the behaviors that necessitate it. God you're dumb.

You’re not very good at being rational. Being the majority of the population is entirely irrelevant to my point. Those who do not have children subsidise those who do, even as a minority. Try and be less intellectually defective. In the real word I am dead right because I stated a fact.
