In 1901, a woman solved the biggest problem in electrical engineering. But the Royal Society wouldn't let her present her own paper. A man read her words while she sat in silence. Then they rejected her as a Fellow because she was married. Then she invented a device that saved soldiers choking on poison gas in WWI. The War Office laughed at her. Then they ordered 104,000 of them. Her name was Hertha Ayrton. She held 26 patents. She was the first woman in the IEE. And most people have never heard her name.... (I share stories of women daily)

The fact that women can have their photos leaked and have their whole career go down the drain, but powerful men can be linked to the Epstein files and still stay in the highest positions of power. Yeah, I don't want to hear anyone argue that gender inequality doesn't exist.

"During the Victorian era one disease became aesthetic." Symptoms of tuberculosis were romanticised. Patients were considered more beautiful as they approached death. Ghostly pale skin and tight-laced corsets defined the 'consumptive chic' look.

In 1980, Jean Hilliard survived being frozen solid after a car accident in -22°F (-30°C) weather in Minnesota. After walking two miles for help, she collapsed just 15 feet from a friend's house and was found six hours later with skin too hard for a needle to pierce. Her heart beat only 12 times per minute. Doctors wrapped her in an electric blanket, and miraculously, Jean's vital signs returned. She spent 49 days in the hospital and made a full recovery.

You might not realize it, but we're part of the first generation of women with the freedom to build lives on our own terms-emotionally, financially, and independently, without needing a husband or children to define us. This level of autonomy is something many of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers never had access to. It's not just progress-it's power. Celebrate it. Own it. You are living a life they only dreamed could be possible.

She was mocked... for being too smart. Marilyn vos Savant was born in 1946. By age 10, her IQ tested at 228. The highest ever recorded. People called her a freak. A fluke. A fraud. She became famous in the '80s for writing a column in Parade magazine - where readers sent her riddles, math problems, and logic traps. Then came the Monty Hall problem. A math puzzle most professors got wrong. She solved it. Perfectly. Explained it to the public in plain English. 1,000+ letters poured in. From PhDs, mathematicians, even Nobel laureates. All saying she was wrong. A woman couldn't be smarter than them. But when MIT and Harvard ran the test? She was right. They were wrong. Instead of revenge, she just kept answering letters and became a role model for gifted girls around the world.

It's funny how "MODERN" men want a wife who's independent...but not too independent. Educated..but not too opinionated. Working...but still home before him to serve dinner hot. Bold... but not "DISRESPECTFUL." Beautiful...but not "TOO REVEALING." Basically, they want a woman who has all the upgrades of 2026 but still runs on the 1950s software of obedience.
