Somalis rank among the most welfare-dependent groups in the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Six countries. Same result. Every single time. This is a pattern, and American taxpayers are paying for it. 81% of Somali immigrant households receive welfare. Even after being in the US for 10 years or longer, 78% are still on welfare. For native households, that number is 21%. They aren’t living the American dream. They are getting free stuff. And we are all paying for it. Moreover, mass Somali immigration is making our communities less safe. According to researchers writing in City Journal, Somali immigrant men have an incarceration rate more than twice that of men born in the United States. An immigration system that endangers our own people is one that needs thorough reform. Last week, my Task Force held its first hearing on Ohio’s Medicaid fraud scandal. I asked a Democrat State Senator one question: “Has Somali immigration been good for Ohio?” She said my question almost brought her to tears because of the hateful rhetoric. Democrats don’t have an argument against the facts, so they attack the people who find them. Luke Rosiak testified that 100% of the suspect Medicaid fraud companies he investigated had Somali, Bhutanese, or other African origin names. 100%. The facts are clear: mass Somali immigration has been a catastrophic failure for American taxpayers, American communities, and American safety. That is exactly why I introduced legislation to ban immigration from Somalia.

Since I’m going to be hearing this for the next 6 months as a Texas voter, let me answer the question: “You would vote for an adulterer over James Talarico? That’s not very Christian.” Here’s the truth: I would rather vote for almost anyone else who is going to at least advocate for conservative *policies* over a literal heretic who wears my faith like a skin suit, advocates for policies that harm children, endorses immorality and generally harm society. Ken Paxton has personal baggage. I don’t deny that. But Talarico has plenty too — and he openly mocks God’s law and treats Jesus as a political mascot all while pushing a radical far-left agenda that would be a disaster for my state. You see, I’m an adult. I do not expect those who are seeking political office to be my moral superiors or even trustworthy. They are tools to be used to do the least amount of damage via policy. I wish more pastors and men who live godly lives were running. I really do. But the options we get are what they are. Paxton supports secure borders, law enforcement, lower taxes, unleashing American energy, the Second Amendment, just to name a few. Talarico supports unlimited abortion, trans-ing children, higher taxes, government-run “healthcare,” and is incredibly comfortable blaspheming the word of God. I’m not voting for a priest. I’m voting for an imperfect person to represent my interests. That’s how it works. You’re not going to guilt trip Texans into supporting a looney tunes candidate like Talarico. Paxton will win by 5+. It’s about policy, not personality.

Think about it for a minute. Why would establishment GOP senators tend to be RINO's? Well RINO's are basically globalist conservatives. And they're globalist conservatives because they're serving the corporatist C-suite executives who fund them. This goes back to the GOP's original roots as the "big business party." As time has gone on, big business has become more and more international and therefore more and more globalist. The idea of a nationalist America-first Republican is a new idea to them. Remember George Bush and New World Order and all that? That was actually a popular idea when a first came out. So this is why the establishment Republicans, the guys that have been there for 30 and 40 years, tend to be more RINO-ish and more globalist. Because in their minds they are still working for big corporate. They see Trump as an existential threat to their entire way of thinking. Closed borders, tariffs - they hate all that stuff. It limits their globalist vision. They don't just hate Trump because he's Trump. They hate him because of the threat that he represents to their basic belief system. Add to that the fact that these corporate lobbyists probably have dirt on all these guys, where if they don't fall in line, they could be blackmailed. This is like Epstein all over again but with corruption, bribes, etc. The only way to end the McConnells and the Thunes and the entire globalist mindset is to primary these guys out and we're doing that. It takes time. It's not overnight. But right now we have a populist nationalist president and a globalist corporatist Senate terrified of giving a nationalist president too much power.
