so refreshing to see conference organisers being candid and emotional about how hard it is to pull an event off, and especially in this context. We should normalise these emotional reactions, and this is definitely one thing I'm taking away from @EnemyEncounters

What a fantastic three days it has been watching all the speakers at the @EnemyEncounters conference. It was a privilege to take part in it and I still feel embarrassed for my laptop battery suddenly draining in mid-sentence!

Great end to an engaging conference! Very inspired by different approaches to how we think about war encounters/fraternization moments. Congrats to @FurneauxHolly & @matilda_greig for hosting a brilliant event! And thanks to Hannah Wills @I_W_M for excellent tech support!👏

Thanks so much for all the speakers and organisers of @EnemyEncounters. A fantastic 3 day conference that has opened up so many ways of looking critically at conflict and cross-cultural encounters. Looking forward to seeing what else the project will produce.

@teaandnerdery @historial1418 you should be able to see the recording on the @EnemyEncounters crowdcast. The whole conference was brilliant and @matilda_greig and @FurneauxHolly are closing it with some very promissing remarks - I'd binge-watch the lot if I were you!
