@EquineTraining @MartinSLewis Why doesn't he claim the benefits he's entitled to? It makes no sense that he doesn't, and then you complain about it.

The PM listed 5 things they'll do to "protect the cost of living". Most just reiteratedexisting situation, the new thing, as expected was £53m to help vulnerable with home heating oil costs. We'll starting digging into that ASAP. Will update here when I know more.

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow The assistance with oil costs should extend to everyone in the same way that the energy price cap covers everyone. Please badger for everyone on this one Martin.

@stumat @MartinSLewis No dout KS will only provide help to those on benefits. As always those who work hard, pay their dues as well as fund those who choose not to work, will have to suffer ... and then Reeves will still clobber us with more taxes in due course.

@MartinSLewis He talks about supporting working people then says it's to help vulnerable people. Not on benefits we have seen a 70% rise in heating oil, so are we now vulnerable or just working people who can fend for ourselves?

Two 3yo colts, all pretrained and ready to go. From winning families but wasted as nobody is buying. We can't keep them forever sadly.

We were very sorry to learn of the passing of Ian Balding; he was such a lovely man. Ian's immense passion for racing and the horses he trained was evidently clear to all those that met him. Ian loved riding and continued riding racehorses well into his 70's; he was on the gallops with young horses the day we caught up with him at Kingsclere. Ro was very fortunate to be bequeathed a treasured memento - one of the racing plates worn by Mill Reef when he won the Derby in 1971 along with a letter Ian sent to Mr. Pledger, the owner of the company that supplied the shoes. Ian had one of the shoes in his drawing room and understood, as we did, that two were [or had been] part of the Mill Reef exhibition at the @NHRMuseum in Newmarket; he said he always wondered what might have happened to the 4th one after sending it to Mr. Pledger.

We do appreciate how tough living with a disability is & indeed certain mental health conditions which we have plenty of experience. Sadly there are those who are quite willing to take advantage of the welfare system to avoid working & this is what's aggravating hard working tax payers.

@EquineTraining @Keir_Starmer Fair enough, we often get abuse about how we live a nice life and have everything handed to us, which is simply not true, it is rough being disabled for most people that are and you have to fight for help just to get enough money to survive. It is hard to enjoy life.

Under the Tories, the welfare bill went up by £88 billion. They left children too poor to eat. They wrote young people off as too ill to work. That costs the country money and is bad for productivity. And it's a massive waste of potential. This is a moral mission. We need to reform the welfare state, and remove all the incentives which hold back the potential of young people. That’s what my government is doing.

Hi Suzanne We've no issue whatsoever with those who have a disability so genuinely need support & we're very sorry that you're one such person. It was ridiculous of the Government to try & push through disability cuts last year; it's the people who are perfectly capable of working we're talking about not those such as yourself.

@EquineTraining @Keir_Starmer I'll gladly trade you your health for what you assume is my 'nice lifestyle' where I can assure you I am expected to exist as though I'm already dead as the DWP relentlessly torture me for the shear misfortune of being in the severe disability group.

@EquineTraining @Keir_Starmer As a disabled person who would love to be able to work, I can tell you, it is not a nice lifestyle, I struggle every single month, I am in debt because of having to use credit to pay for bills. I would give anything to be well enough to work again. 😞

This 4 year old had been in training for a few months before being sent to us by her owner for assessment as it was considered all was not as it should be. This tucked under posture presenting shouts out that there is more than one issue bothering her. Postural changes occur when a horse compensates for physical discomfort in one or more areas of the body including saddlery and rider issues, is held in an outline [usually a false one] by a so-called "training aid" of some description which results in faulty biomechanics and hence muscle development [or lack of in] or is not correctly muscled and prepared to cope with the work it is being asked to do. A visual/manual of the mare assessment revealed: - significant rotation causing a spinal twist - displacement through the tuber-sacrale coupled with irritation around the SI joints and buckling under finger pressure - cartilage damage mid thoracic with the surrounding area being tight and irritated - tension through the para-spinals - facet joint tension - spinal processes pushed together causing irritation/discomfort in the supraspinous ligament running along the top of the spine indicating that the back has been going in to extension, At 4 years of age the facet joints are not properly formed and the cartilage can be pushed up between them which it had done as demonstrated by a lump mid spine. - over-use of hamstrings, hip flexors and lumbar area muscles -instead of pushing with the gluts, - loading medially on both front feet - weak through right shoulder which corresponded with the right hind weakness - brachiocephalic tension - tension in the area behind both shoulders [triceps, ascending pecs] …. so little wonder the mare was not performing too well. Her posture is so common in horses in training and so of course is typically seen in horses that have come out of training. It has been a slow process to gradually put this mare back together to the extent that 3 months in, we had to face the fact that she may have “kissing spine” as the soreness just would not completely go away but thankfully x-rays revealed she had a super spine so at worse medication of the SI might have to be considered. In the knowledge that we were not fighting a losing battle with KS we quietly plugged away with our rehabilitation work, finally we turned a corner and the mare began to blossom …. to the extent that all SI irritation dissipated so SI mediation has not been necessary with the mare becoming such a willing and enthusiastic worker with a super length of stride now that she could use herself correctly. The mare went back into training earlier this week.

It's a positive move but there's talk of lowering the VAT threshold which isn't welcome news to small businesses; it will hit them very hard. How are people such as windows cleaners, gardeners, dog groomers & walkers, mobile hairdressers etc going to cope? We trust you're going to be their voice?
