@ColinParryPeace I think of the boys every year at this time. The strength to not just carry on, but to use tragedy as a doorway to good is awe inspiring. Tim and Johnathon played a massive role in the peace process. Their deaths resonated with everyone & showed peace was the only way.

Today is the 33rd anniversary of the day the IRA bombed Warrington town centre and killed my son Tim and 3 yr old Johnathan Ball. Words can never describe how losing a child leaves a huge hole in your heart and your family. Eternal love Tim ❤️❤️

@timwazbucket Both but really because the market at the middle and lower end is impossible. Took us 2 years to sell the last two despite them being siblings of the winners of 25 races between them.

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.

@NeilForPoole Dogs are not forced to run. If u want an adult conversation about aftercare, welfare, people abusing ALL animals now that's worthwhile. But that's difficult, needs effort, confronts people with vested interests. So easier to ban something that doesn't even exist in Scotland!

Great news that greyhound racing will be banned in Wales! Pushing dogs to their limits for entertainment and profit leaves many with life‑changing injuries - and too often an early death. Westminster should follow suit and call the last lap on greyhound racing.

@timwazbucket @BLackgold_5 The position of the 380 flight deck made it useless as a heavy lift freighter so it lost a massive market share. The ground ops investment in specialist equipment restricted route choices and made handling expensive too.

@stumat @BLackgold_5 A380 would have been better & cheaper again if not subjected to underhand tactics that stopped it being what it could have been. A new version of Concorde is imminent I’d say. High speed & efficiency,luxury travel is going to be desirable I think.

No matter your views on banning Greyhound racing (despite there being no tracks in Scotland!), the votes in Wales & Scotland will cause the death of more dogs in the next few months than racing ever has. Greyhounds will be a rarity and many that survive the cull, homeless.

@RacingPost Prize money. Well bred horses from winning families costing 10s of thousands to raise being sold for £2500 after 2 yrs. The big prices are all the big boys having a circle jerk moving money around. Coolmore buys from Godolphin who buy from Coolmore etc......
