It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.

When flying @Space_Station and all MCC flight controllers stop in breathless awe at a glimpse of the solar system that is so close, yet so far from our daily lives. I have built a career in this room and have been shown by @dominickmatthew how much there is to see when we explore

@LeahCheshier @G2Nasa Was a great day. Watching crew8 now with great anticipation. Feels so strange to not be in the room.

Gearing up for Crew-8 launch brings me back to breakfast on the beach with @Explorer_Flight and @G2Nasa after Crew-7 docking last fall (maybe the best avocado toast ever)

Took the Shelton roses from MCC to Astro memorial tree grove. Hazard analysis, quality control, test safety, emergency response. The little things are big things. #keepExploring

@rookisaacman @johnkrausphotos @WarrenPeavy @SmileSimplify @StephenClark1 It’s a great idea. Be aware that doing gyros without SRMS makes it extremely challenging to reach the ORU. During servicing mission training we figured out an option, but it was a little sketchy. Closing doors without arm is also a high risk. But if gyros fail, it is all over.

With Hubble orbit decaying there is only a limited time to plan, train & fly a mission. I am a bit concerned that the 'clock' is being run out on this game.
The mission has to help advance the capabilities of the commercial space industry. We are not going to just reboost a very unhealthy Hubble. The telescope has been going in and out of safe mode over the last month w/bad gyros. The study provided for several options to enhance the telescope.
As for the crew, we would bring together people to give the mission the best chance of success. I am just concerned at this pace, there may not be a Hubble to save.

Had a great opportunity to talk with Rich Price about leadership and doing hard things. Take a listen. open.spotify.com/episode/0lDNvk…

A few minutes ago people were inside this streak of plasma. Now they are bobbing safely in the ocean. Thank you, @SpaceX for a great ride and for bringing Crew 6 home.

Reentry! SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft reenters Earth’s atmosphere — streaking right alongside the Milky Way — with the Crew-6 astronauts returning from the International Space Station! This is a single, four-minute exposure captured from St. Augustine, Florida at 12:09 a.m. ET.

Feeling helpless as I watch my hometown struggle through amazing devastation. Will head home in a few weeks to give more than money, but for now…

@johnkrausphotos @NASA_Johnson @astro_reid @AstroVicGlover @Astro_Christina @Astro_Jeremy Thank you for the pic. We’re setting up a lot more great content.

It’s an honor to see my photo from Artemis I on display NASA’s Johnson Space Center — just outside of the White FCR, aka mission control for Artemis flights. Thanks for the pic @Explorer_Flight!
I’m looking forward to lots of exciting photography coverage of Artemis II.
