How's Twitter going for people these days? I'm not here often, and it's a testament to how much the connections made here before the enshitification of all things™ were welcomed that I even ask. I'm on Bsky, but I just don't spend any significant time anywhere now.

@Charlie_Athanas Yeah. The schism created a moment to re-evaluate the value of spending any time on this stuff, and it's lead to the death of my personal interest. I do miss the folks from here, but... to what end would I possibly feel ethical to interact here. It sucks.

@JustySilverman I'm 43 and I saw this movie at exactly the right age. It and House (not Hausu, I saw that a lot later) occupy a space close to Evil Dead/II in my heart.

Also, The Gate is a Top 10 horror movie for me.

I made some 4-up, zero-level character sheets for my favorite system of all time--@GoodmanGames' Mutant Crawl Classics. They're simple sheets to begin with, but a little bit of design to make the medicine go down never hurt anyone.
