I usually roll my eyes at this guy’s posts, but he has a very valid point. There would be quite a few logistical hurdles, but we can begin with the one who are easily identified like Scott Ritter.

@McCainJack @EvansRyan202 Even if he hadn’t been doxxed by the podcast, though, because of his hubris, he all but posted his resume for all to see. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out when you post damn near every detail of both your Army and civilian careers.

@McCainJack @EvansRyan202 CP is an insufferable jackass, but I disagree with his doxxing, but this wasn’t what did it. He was doxxed months ago by one of his own when he went on a podcast to bloviate and stroke his ego some more, as shown in this screenshot.

@thestinkeye I’m all for taking toys away from the AF, but killing the B variant would essentially strip MEUs of any organic fixed wing air support.

The F-35A looks like a fireplug. The F-35C looks like a proper fighter. They should have sh!tcanned all the small-deck carriers, built 5 more supercarriers and made the Air Force and Marines fly the C-model.

@marcus_walters @McCainJack @CynicalPublius I don’t have to imagine it; I saw it firsthand. Are there commanders who are far too deferential to JAGs? Sure, but that failure rests with the commander rather than the attorney doing his job. If you don’t have a set of balls, you probably shouldn’t assume command.

No commander wants to end their career with a court martial in Leavenworth. Senior command and the DOD made sure that fear was real. Let’s not pretend otherwise.

I disagree with your take. Why? Because I have seen protectionist, self serving “JAGary” and its end results. It allows the enemy to thrive in the face of reasonable use of force denied bc some prick is more worried about optics than the live of those in harms way. Go ahead and deny it. That will tell us just how honest you are about this topic.

@MatthewJRoth @McCainJack @CynicalPublius I was a pilot. I agree wholeheartedly that “bullets don’t fly without supply.” None of us could do our jobs without a large network of logistical support, but this guy fancies himself some kind of Rambo.
