That is how you welcome and treat a friend and ally under threat and fighting for their very existence. Well done @Keir_Starmer and the British people - enjoy your visit with the King @ZelenskyyUa 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Do you answer complaints via email @O2? Email and phone calls, promised an email back and a call back - nothing, now I’m getting texts to say sorry to see you go 🙈

The greatest asset of our education system is its educators. This morning, I joined parents and children standing in solidarity with striking staff at Canary Wharf College.

How's that for support! Members are out on strike across Canary Wharf College Trust today demanding an end to unacceptable management style and a start to Burgundy Book and STPCD conditions. Thank you to the parents and @ApsanaBegumMP for coming down and showing support. @NEUnion

@wizzobravo @hharniess Thankfully, majority of staff voted to strike (new leadership have been in place not far over a year). It may be an indication that any bullying or lying that may be going on, will not be tolerated and that if it is going on, parents on the whole I believe, will support staff.

@FetchingDi @hharniess Losing the dressing room can take a very long time. Bullies surround themselves with likeninded people. As regards trustees, no idea, but they aren't sitting on the panels that are replacing governing bodies.

This has very strong similarities. Particularly around the contempt shown for parents. An otherwise supportive, engaged, involved group of people, vilified. Including a rewritten parent code of conduct trying to control the narrative.

@hharniess Sadly, I had experience of this. The MAT I worked at systematically bullied all the headteachers out of their jobs after they objected to the arbitrary way the MAT removed their access to their own carefully nurtured reserves, which had been brought with them into the Trust. 1.

@wizzobravo @hharniess Bad leaders exist, that’s just something that has be accepted - eventually they’ll ‘lose the dressing room’. Trustees however, that’s a voluntary position for the good of school and community. Why on earth commit to that position, then ignore concerns from staff and parents?

@FetchingDi @hharniess This is so true. The reason parents can fall out with the leadership of a school is because of high-handed behaviour like this. Parents are partners in the education of a child. Got a difficult parent? Dig deeper. Find a connection on a basic level. Have some of the empathy.

@warwickmansell This is just the tip of the iceberg. CWC has enough issues for a @BBCPanorama series.

Friend works for a large well-known MAT - school is pretty chaotic & behaviour not good. Ofsted were in recently and a whole crowd of additional staff from elsewhere in the MAT were imported for two days! Why are they getting away with this?

@jennylewis79 @AppealsHelp @WhistleblowingT I don’t know who posted. I imagine they’re quite concerned. Would be great if you could contact me directly - if it’s the trust I’m thinking (which I’m sure it is). I’m having a meeting this evening to try to help bring things together so would really appreciate you contact me.

@FetchingDi @AppealsHelp @WhistleblowingT I chair the pta for one of the primaries and work closely with the other pta and I can confirm the PTA comments are completely unfounded and untrue. Complete rubbish.
