They were given an alternate timeline; their own little corner of the app. At first, everything looked normal: the same layout, the same notifications, and the same rhythm. But if you paid close enough attention, subtle cracks appeared. Posts didn’t behave the way they used to. Trends felt slightly delayed and off, Interactions seemed real, yet oddly out of sync. To see the videos of the speeds and acclerations, they have to be using some sort of field propulsion because the are not using any known propulsion known to man.

That's good. It's not clear how high the risks are. A lot depends on how you word the question. Distance and exposure duration matter. So does the nature of the machinery in the craft and what the craft is doing (circling, accelerating away, decelerating towards, hovering). All of these may affect the dopplar shift of any radiation being emitted. Infrared radiation can be shifted into the X-ray band if the IR source is moving towards you rapidly. No IR, no problem, unless the anti-gravity drive is emitting gamma rays for some reason. Even knowing what I know, I would be sorely tempted to move towards a UFO at rest, knock, and say hello. The risk taken in that scenario includes radiation poisoning, abduction, and some other form of hostility or indifference. Are you sure you didnt't have any "missing time?"
