Because they treat Total Depravity like it only applies to Calvinists, and common grace isn’t part of their theology. Also, somewhere between “I reject God’s sovereign decree” and “let me explain Romans to you,” they accidentally became the comment section they warned us about. Take heart, even their replies are being sovereignly governed for our sanctification.

You explicitly called Limited Atonement heresy, but you also affirmed Total Depravity. If man is truly unable, then the decisive cause of salvation must be God (Unconditional Election). If God decisively saves, then Christ’s atonement actually secures salvation, not merely makes it possible (Limited Atonement). And if it actually secures salvation, it cannot fail, it will infallibly bring about the salvation of those for whom it was intended (Irresistible Grace). You can object to that conclusion, but you don’t get to call it heresy while affirming the premise that leads to it. So you, I'm not lying about what you said, I'm just following your own position to its end.
