@IsleyResistance @thecavedaddy You are able to pay more taxes while earning a higher income and will still be able afford wants and needs. This allows the government to then redistribute some of this and help out the people who can’t afford their NEEDS. Not to mention everything else the gov does.

@thecavedaddy Why should I pay more taxes because I make more money? If it's an attempt at fairness, I think a head tax is the most 'fair'. Why should the people that utilize the most constribute the least?

Why is everyone so against a flat tax for everyone ? 5% across the board, no tax codes to help someone cheat, nothing else. You just pay 5% whether you make $1000 or $10,000,000,000.

Canada buys roughly $450 billion. That is $50 billion in cash flowing into Canada that helps pay for things like socialized medicine.
