May I suggest a recorded message out of hours to say you’re closed? This would prevent people continuing to try to get through.

@davidjusteat phone lines out at Rodney Parade. Been trying for the past two weeks to pay for my season tickets over the phone. Endlessly listening to the cancan and an American robot telling me I’m first in the queue only to be automatically kicked off the call every time.
