To all the people screaming about declining birth rates, let’s talk about Chelsea Walsh. She was pregnant, needed a work from home accommodation to prevent early labor, and was denied. She delivered prematurely. Her baby died. This is what happens when we fail mothers. You don’t get to panic about birth rates while refusing to create basic protections for pregnant people. I'm trying to understand your pro-choice position and how you get there. You must look to some principle to help guide you to whether something is right or wrong? The only reason I mentioned earlier about you being atheist or secular was because there are also secular pro-life groups who argue from biology, human rights, ethics and philosophy. They typically argue from. 1. Human life begins biologically at conception 2. All human beings deserve equal moral value 3. Human rights should apply to the unborn I'm assuming there's some kind of guidance or set of ideas that says protecting humans is good, harming them is bad? That you adhere to? How does it differ from those concepts? I'm assuming you also use biology, human rights, ethics and philosophy to build your case? I hope you can see these are questions of good faith.

Dweeb update/more info - The issue with Dweeb’s broken face is that there are several very misplaced jaw fractures, fractures close to the TMJ, splintered bone, and infection that ate away at the bone. It’s not a simple broken jaw that they can suture/wire/button and it’ll heal

@feederofcats Wanted to say that the Dental Team at Davis is top notch! We rescued a pup who had a broken jaw & needed extensive reconstructive surgery to repair her jaw. They were AMAZING! They made a 3D print of her skull so they could practice the surgery beforehand & it went smoothly!
