Hurts to be that close and come up short. Up big at half, and we didn’t finish — a hard lesson in football and in life. But this group fought through more adversity than most will ever see. Regular season Highlights need to be created asap! Few tips: 1. Keep It 2–3 Minutes Max Coaches don’t have time for long videos. Show only your best 15–20 plays — the ones that instantly show your ability and impact. 2. Put Your Best Plays First The first 30–45 seconds determine if a coach keeps watching. Start with your most explosive, dominant, or game-changing moments — touchdowns, big hits, sacks, interceptions, pancakes, etc. 3. Clearly Identify Yourself Use an arrow, circle, or spotlight before each play so coaches immediately know who you are. Keep the highlight marker up for only 1–2 seconds — long enough to notice, but not distracting. 4. Include a Quick Intro Slide Keep it simple: Name Graduation year Position(s) Height, weight, GPA, and 40 time (if verified) School and state Contact info (email + phone). You can also put down my contact info 5. Keep It Clean and Professional Avoid music with profanity or heavy edits. Simple transitions and clear film are best. No slow motion or effects unless it helps highlight a specific skill. 6. Label It Correctly Title example: “John Smith – Class of 2026 – Junior Season Highlights (WR/DB – Centennial HS, NV)” 7. End with Your Contact Info Again
