Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah has criticized government and the Energy Ministry over the ongoing power outages, citing how they were nearly crucified days ago when similar problems persisted during their tenure.
He expressed concern that the current situation has not been addressed promptly and has called for the release of a dumsor timetable if the problem is not resolved soon.

If we don’t stop this government and prompt it to refocus on the things that matter, by dealing with their people they know are involved in GALAMSEY, we will wake up one day without a country.
This is how the taps in Oda are flowing but the NDC government continues to do on-looking.
The Pentecost apostle spoke and they attacked, insulted and called him fake.
The Pediatricians have spoken about how our new borns are deforming.
This clueless, waste of time, of a government made a sacred promise to the people to end GALAMSEY. They win power and they are the ones enabling the GALAMSEY which has escalated like never seen before in this country.
We have a choice now, to remain quiet and watch our dear country die slowly, or we call these bunch of clueless arrogant braggarts out and get them to do their work.
Time is running out!!!

I am currently engaging with Thando Dalamba, Acting South African High Commissioner to Ghana, via Bongani Lukhele from Department of Trade, Industry and Competition media office.
My message is simple and firm: we will not tolerate any nonsense or actions that undermine our country.
Department of International Relations and Cooperation must wake up and act decisively. South Africa is a sovereign nation — it does not belong to the ANC, nor to the GNU.
It belongs to its citizens.
And as citizens, we will continue to assert our voice and defend our country. Ghana can go to hell if they can't respect our laws.
