It's February; the sun is shining and the sky is blue. Birds skidding in and out of the bushes singing their little hearts out. I know how they feel. Spring is a-coming and she, too, is singing as she brushes away the damp with her straw broom. Happy new month, everyone x

Samson has been laid to rest behind a newly built stone wall in front of which three young almond trees are growing. I put a white orchid in with him.

Some sad news. At 29 years of age. Champion cutting horse, mother of two, movie star…my amazing Honey has passed away. She spent nearly 22 years of her life living with me.
