The donor coordination efforts are serious in #Uganda. Today a big group came together (hybrid) to discuss forestry, conservation and biodiversity efforts. Private sector efforts are presented and appreciated by all. Together and coordinated the impacts will be better.

Deforestation & forest degradation continue to occur at alarming rates, contributing significantly to the ongoing loss of biodiversity. Uganda's Forestry Cover has gradually increased from 9% of 2017 to 12.8% of now. Let's synergize to keep acting! #GenerationRestoration

Sad news, more alarming confirmation of the deep sustainability crisis humankind is facing, on top of IPCC reports, UNFCCC Global Stocktake etc. What more evidence do we need to step up #ClimateActionNow & leverage green investments to scale up implementation of green solutions!

Congratulations! Following change in NDA, relevance of LT-LEDS was challenged at the final phase. It was not an easy task for me to convince the State Minister. Proud to be part of this historic achievement. I sincerely thank HE Dr Nemera for his understanding & flexibility.
