@CosmicDude3000 @CopperHQ @CeffuGlobal With custodians, the collateral is held separately from the exchange itself
However, in the event the exchange fails, it still means that half of the Ethena strategy, which is composed of 2 parts (spot asset, derivative hedge) suddenly is not present, and creates exposure

@Evan_ss6 @chiefingza Not taking anything away from them, obviously elite tennis athletes are incredible. Just frothing on golf haha. The US open is currently in its final round and its proving to be an absolute banger.

You don’t need to compete injury free though, you just need to play 4 rounds to win. Tennis champions have to win 7 matches in a row in these conditions, also avoiding injuries, maintaining focus, and playing under intense pressure. Also some of their matches don’t end til 2-3am as such playing on improper sleep schedule

Most people simply don’t have the fortitude to keep grinding and stick to the process of finding edge and betting appropriate size after they’ve drawn down a bunch
They start getting emotional, they revenge trade. They tilt. They don’t internalize that your past decisions are gone and every passing moment is an opportunity to make the right play. Their mistakes compound instead of just washing away. This is the surest way to eventually take yourself out of the game and zero out.
If you can’t deal with this you have 2 options:
1) grow some balls
2) accept being someone that mostly hits singles. there’s nothing inherently wrong with this, it’s a good way to make a living if you’re good at it.
For me, I had a decade+ of training to not tilt and to discard emotions when playing games for big money. This is an acquired skill that takes time and experience— when I was 18-19-20 I didn’t have this, and started torching off $$ as a result, making the uphill climb to get back even more arduous. The logical part of your brain knows you can’t give anything away to your opponents who won’t do the same in return. This is your best defense. Study the 2004 Greek National team.
Then you can move on to offense.

@0x_Kun @Evan_ss6 people who made 7 figs in the last 6 months are also mad this is what this space does

@Evan_ss6 @chiefingza I like that golf has an element of randomness to it, excellent play sometimes gets a bad break and vice versa. Tennis is more raw skill v raw skill.
English

@Evan_ss6 @chiefingza Maintaining focus over 4 days and competing injury free for an entire career requires a comparable level of commitment to physical I think.
