Very stoked to share that I'm joining the @ethereum Foundation's Protocol Support team. I'm super excited to work with a team of people who I've long admired and with core devs who are doing much of the hard work in Ethereum @ethStaker is a precious resource in supporting the decentralization of Ethereum's consensus layer and communicating with stakers, so I'll spend the next four months transitioning away from my full time role and making sure that we're well set for minimal turbulence. After that, I'll remain involved as a volunteer (as I was when I started!) EthStaker's strength is its community. My most important roles in this community have been to keep close contact with stakers, keep up with research to make sure that stakers are well supported and represented, and to make sure that our long-time members have what they need to provide technical support and tooling to stakers But EthStaker is much more than any one person. Our long-time members have built their own critical roles and now also work at places like @beaconcha_in, @poapxyz, @privy_io, & @galaxyhq or on the Ephemery testnet & building public goods tooling. We'll be hosting a number of community calls over the next four months - if you're interested in getting more involved in EthStaker, we encourage you to reach out in our Discord (discord.gg/ethstaker) and propose calls or join ones we're planning. The community calls will be listed in our Discord and on our website's events page (ethstaker.cc/events) My aim has always been to support the core tenets of Ethereum's decentralized, permissionless, capture-resistant ethos as best I can and moving to Protocol Support will only help me do this 🫡

How can people be bearish on ETH 🤔 ETH basically is DeFi. ETH alone covers ~58% of all of DeFi TVL (~65% when including L2s TVL). DeFi is the biggest usecase of web3. What web2 is to data, web3 is to finance. +50% of stable coin supply exist on Ethereum & L2s. Most advanced innovations in DeFi happens on ETH before being replicated on other chains. There's a lot of noise around and bearish sentiment on X but fundamentals matters.
