Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

It’s Judeo-Christian values which built the entire western civilization and created first world nations. Part of that value system is working hard, productive labor, working as a community to solve problems to make a better life. Creating a democracy so good in services can be distributed all these things that made the West great are things that would be lost if we took away labor. Maybe try to educate yourself more beyond where you order your pizza from or which Xbox version you have and you’ll do better in life

Regarding the concept of universal income as a solution for AI, taking anyone’s job, I think it’s a terrible idea and that we would have so much suicide and depression. It would be unsustainable. Work is work. So we’re all gonna go get masters degree because we don’t have to show up to a job, but what would be the purpose of that just acquiring intellect? What percentage of the population actually does that? What percentage of the population is really being held back from running a marathon because they have to go to a job? I would say like 1%. So you’re gonna have a bunch of fat obese people with brain, rot, and depression because they have no meaning in life and most people are lazy. Maybe this is natural selection at its finest.
