@ARNJ47 “19th century infrastructure”? Try: 👉 medicines delivered 👉 legal documents 👉 rural communities connected This isn’t nostalgia, it’s essential infrastructure. It’s not madness to renationalise failure. It’s madness to keep repeating it.

🚨 HUGE on GMB 🔥 We’re told Morgan McSweeney’s WhatsApp messages with Mandelson are gone because his phone was stolen and police didn’t investigate. But as @Kevin_Maguire points out: 👉 WhatsApp messages don’t disappear with a phone 👉 They can be restored from backups 🧨 So the real question is: Why can’t these messages be recovered?

Labour have been smearing the Greens on our evidenced-based approach to drugs. If the PM won’t listen to us, and he won’t listen to the experts, will he listen to the families at @anyoneschild, who have lost loved ones under the UK’s current negligent drug policies?

@tonyannett @brew56200 Higher taxes have zero effect on govt ability to spend. The revenue department and the issues department don’t even have each other’s phone number. There’s zero operational dependency on what govt taxes to what it can spend.

This makes no sense. Of course McSweeney’s texts are available in these circumstances — I know because this happened to me McSweeney’s “device was shut off remotely and he was given a new one with the same number the next day” theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

@Heccles94 Because while it fails in terms of service, it succeeds spectacularly in terms of a small number of people making a shed-load of money out of it. 🤨

In Denmark - the country Britain’s Home Secretary constantly cites as an inspiration - the ruling centre left party is don sharply to its worst ever vote share, while both parties to its left and on the radical right gain.

Privatisation of utilities and services. It's just not working, is it? Declining functionality, crumbling infrastructure, insecure employment and free money funnelled into the pockets of parasitic investors and financiers. Private wealth, public squalor. Renationalise now!
Trades Union Congress@The_TUC

Royal Mail gave away almost £600 million to shareholder dividends and buyback schemes, instead of investing in the service. This is the cost of privatisation. @CWUnews @DaveWardGS

A new poll has just dropped for Wales and it is fascinating. First Minister Eluned Morgan is expected to lose her seat while Reform have increased their vote share compared to previous polls. Plaid will be the largest party and, alongside the Greens, would command a majority in the Senedd. The Lib Dems would be totally wiped out under these results and the Welsh Tories would be down to just one MS. Let’s break down the details… This poll is by YouGov for ITV Wales in partnership with Cardiff University and has applied the latest MRP modelling to offer a predicted breakdown of how many seats each party will win in each of the 16 new constituencies. This is the breakdown of the vote percentage and how much it has changed compared to the last poll: Senedd voting intention: Plaid Cymru - 33 (-4) Reform UK - 27 (+4) Welsh Labour - 13 (+3) Wales Green Party - 12 (-1) Welsh Conservatives - 7 (-3) Welsh Liberal Democrats - 5 (n/c) What would this mean in terms of seats? In terms of the 96 seats in the Senedd these results would leave the new Welsh Parliament like this: Plaid Cymru - 43 seats Reform UK - 30 Welsh Labour - 12 Wales Green Party - 10 Welsh Conservatives - 1

Well, looking at Goodwin and his, erm, 'book', and Farage and Ipswich Town, it's been another wonderful day for Reform in the popularity stakes 😁😁 However have they managed to top the polls as the most hated politicians? It's a mystery 🙄😁

Farage and Reform are topping the polls as the most hated politicians in the country. I reckon Ipswich Town, in what must be the dumbest PR move in history, are about to find out just how hated they really are.
