My sister was diagnosed with ADHD. She got away with a lot. I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD because I had amazing grades. My mom tried to have me diagnosed as Oppositional Defiance Disorder and got mad and stormed out when they suggested ADHD. Funny in hindsight.

@horchataslore I had mine removed in April 2025, but I am going to look into the lawsuits on my end. I had extreme pain with mine and abnormal uterine bleeding before the pregnancy so I feel it's a smart idea.

@GleamyD Don’t take Nexplanon, they allegedly got lawsuits for causing cancer.

My ex kept asking Planned Parenthood to install an IUD in me while I was still bleeding from having a miscarriage. He didn't want to wait before doing things with me or discuss options. He wanted me to go through this pain so he could avoid a vasectomy. I also had a Nexplanon.

@crescentmoontea Furthermore, cats will spray if they're male or female and yowl to find mates while a female dog in heat might get antsy and bleed, but she isn't going to break your neck to go outside for a male dog lol Cats are just more annoying when unaltered to where it's pushed more.

@crescentmoontea With cats, we are able to spay/neuter extremely early but even then... There's still some cost to it. Female cats can have a slipping pelvic floor (urinary incontinence) when they get older, and the male cats don't develop with tom cat characteristics. Cats are harder to contain

I'm neither a dog owner nor a dog person so can someone please explain to me why so many people refuse to spay/neuter their dogs, especially if the dog isn't being used for breeding?

@MajestiesL There are some pain management treatments for it during, and if you have a regular female PCP before you go for your removal, they can usually help prescribe a strong painkiller before your appointment to help prevent/reduce pain. It's convenient but the pain is not advertised 🥲
