Brilliant… Mad Ed has managed to lead us into the perfect storm.
▪️Norway is cutting gas supplies by up to 1/3 for maintenance
▪️Global flows are hit by Middle East disruption.
▪️Europe is running low on storage and we have a few days worth.
▪️Blocked Rosebank and Jackdaw, even though UK gas fields ready to go NOW.
▪️prices to spiral upwards for years.

@BenGrahamUK Those 200 reservoirs were built when the UK owned it's own water.
Zero have been built since the conservatives sold our water to private interests for a fraction of it's true value.
The problem isn't red tape, it's the greed of private interests.

Now? Not one major new reservoir in over 30 years.
Population up 13 million.
Demand soaring.
But Britain has become a country where nothing gets built anymore, strangled by red tape, judicial reviews, and short term politics.
A developed nation that’s forgotten how to develop.

Rachel Reeves blaming forecourts is pure deflection. At 160p per litre: Tax: 80p Forecourt profit: 7p The government takes over 50%, which is around 10x more than forecourts. But somehow it’s the petrol stations fault? The public can see straight through this.

Whether we join in or not has little impact on the conflict, so he is merely showboating for his base at home at the expense of alliances abroad. Regardless of that, you clearly have different concerns to me. Starmer's vision of the UK is not mine

In the absence of any independent evidence whatsoever to corroborate a man who a) gave the wrong address b) didn’t identify to police his job or the sensitivity of the phone I’d say it’s pretty near-fetched to ask just how stolen the phone was at all

@GregHunter @RupertMyers Oh, I see. Well Brexit was national concensus, not party political. Covid was an aberration, that Starmer was no better qualified to deal with than any other politician. He's shown that he'd lock us up in a heartbeat though.

@bigbluetractor @RupertMyers Greens - I like some of their policies, and I'd like to leave a livable planet for my kids, but I don't think they are ready for the big time yet.
So, Starmer it is.
I think his handling of Trump and Iran conflict has been miles better than Badenoch or Farage would have done.

The mindset of the Restore leader seems to be utter incompetence, not even knowing the location of his own constituency.
