You are relying on special pleading and a misunderstanding of physics to reach a predetermined conclusion.
- Misunderstanding 'Natural': Your definition of natural causality is purely classical. In quantum mechanics, uncaused events (like radioactive decay or quantum vacuum fluctuations) happen constantly. Nature already contains uncaused phenomena.
- Misapplying Causality: Causality requires time (a cause must precede an effect). General relativity demonstrates that time itself began with the universe. Asking what 'caused' the universe forces a temporal concept onto a state where time did not exist.
- The Non-Sequitur Leap: Even if we grant the necessity of an 'uncaused causer' outside of spacetime, concluding 'It's God btw' is a massive leap unsupported by your premises. An uncaused origin is just as logically likely to be an impersonal, non-conscious physical state. In fact, theoretical physics models like the Hartle-Hawking state demonstrate mathematically how a universe can be finite but entirely self-contained without a boundary or a 'beginning,' rendering an external first cause unnecessary.
You are establishing a rule (everything needs a cause), breaking your own rule (except this one thing), and then arbitrarily assigning that exception to your preferred deity.

Naturalists will say that something is “natural” if it exists because it has a natural explanation, meaning something else that is natural caused it (lightning is caused by friction within clouds). But this becomes self defeating because it can’t be the case that everything has a natural explanation. If it was then there’s an infinite regress of cause with no beginning. This is no less absurd than saying “God can only exist if He’s made by another God.” That would also lead to an infinite regress that would explain nothing. No. At the beginning of the chain, there must be something uncaused. But if it’s an uncaused causer… it can’t be natural because natural things have natural causes. There has to be something fundamentally and completely different than every other thing we observe. It’s God btw.

Where did I say a “god” isn’t real? I’m saying that humans, being animals, created the concept of God out of fear, then shaped it through a human lens, anthropomorphizing whatever they imagined.
And even if there is some kind of intelligent designer behind all of this, it’s probably far beyond anything we’re actually capable of understanding.

While not quite as anthropomorphized as Jesus…God is still quite anthropomorphized. Imagine squirrels believing in a higher power and assigning it squirrel traits. A squirrel in the sky who gives them domain over all the nuts. Fortunately for the squirrels, they don’t appear to be as self aware as humans to create religion.

I came back to Christianity a few years ago and its definitely a complicated subject, but life experience convinced me before the message did.

The number 1 thing atheists simply cannot understand is this:
If you change the foundation of reality, you change reality. You can’t change how and why everything is here and expect for nothing else to change. Our understanding of morality, meaning, science, personhood, choice, design, beauty, rationality, etc…. All of it.

Smoking is cool, it has always been cool and will always be cool. You shouldn't smoke because it's absolutely horrible for you. It's why we all quit, but it doesn't change the fact that it's cool.
Caveat: It is extremely uncool if you're fat. It just makes you look like an out of control animal with no self control and you look like you're going to drop dead. Gotta pick one poison at the most.

In the old testament the Isrealites were told to completely destroy neighboring tribes, something they didn't exactly carry out as told in the Bible.

That's already part of your perception.
Imagine there is a Creator that doesn't care about humans. Perhaps the universe is like a terrarium to them and they like the beauty of the cosmic order. Your foundations stay the same yet there is no Abrahamic God.
The foundations could stay the same without any Creator at all. It might be difficult to imagine, but there is no law that humans have to have the ability to imagine everything.
These perceptions influence how society and humans operate, but we are not changing the foundations of reality itself. Reality functions the same way no matter how we attempt to analyze it.
