@drsuffy I don't care what anyone else thinks but Ramsey is right. Pay off all debt, have a decent savings and then buy toys with cash. Being frugal does appear harder than in the 80's/90's when I was growing, that entire mindset has been removed from products, all disposable now.

I see we are back in the economic conflict between generations. Few things. 1. My generation absolutely needs to learn how to be frugal.
