I grew up about a 20 min drive from Red Rocks. I have seen about 40 front-row/2nd-row concerts there! Back in the day, we locals used to do practice runs on the stairs to optimize our capability to run to first row. (It was free when there wasn't a concert going on.) The stairs start out as wider concrete platforms, so you have to run/leap to the edge of each platform until you got down to the front, wherein it became little, little, little so you modify from wide leaps to small jumps at the end. (The mistake the non-locals made was run but take a run-step in the middle of each wider platform at the top. We beat 'em because you have to leap to the edge of the next platform stair--no step in the middle of it. Beat you by 10 seconds!!!) First two rows were always locals because, back then, you partied in the parking lot for about 4 hours before the concert, and the minute it was door-opening time, we ran to the door and lined up before everyone else even knew what was happening . It was no ticketed seats--just open admission, so we knew how to beat the non-locals every single damned time! I'm sure the premium rows are ticketed by now, but back then it was free-for-all and who can navigate the quickest! I think it is going by IP address, so even US citizens abroad will get blocked from interacting with US accounts. Maybe the point is just a backdoor way to start making us use govt ID to use the site? Seems dumb to limit me because of my IP address, especially when I'm still a US citizen and can vote absentee.

Tell me what I’m missing here. There is a new feature where accounts can now block people from entire regions from replying. I would think this would be frustrating as a user who wants to participate in this site. They will try to reply to something, be blocked, then leave. How does this help this site? Everyone will be angry and block each other’s countries back and suddenly no one can talk around here. I don’t get it. Why is it good for a social media site to be inhospitable? This is very much what the blue place is like where everyone has such gigantic block lists soon you can’t reply to anyone so people leave.

For accounts restricting only to US region, you are leaving out US citizens living abroad, Europeans, UK, and Australia. I'm a US citizen and currently in Europe, so if I am restricted from replying because I am out of region, I'll probably just unfollow.

Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill. Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results. Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess. Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate. You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months. Now let's talk donors: • Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user • Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify • Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration • Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Force a real talking filibuster. 2. Stop hiding behind process. 3. Pass the SAVE America Act. YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents. You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time. Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.

@wokeandwoofing There is some nearby construction where they destroyed the foundations of some older houses on the land plots, causing lots of dust. As sneezing can cause automatic gender change, I changed gender about 50 times in one day!

I have been diagnosed as S.A.G.F (Socialy Advantageous Gender Fluid) which means I will spontaneously trans into whatever gender is most beneficial to me in any given situation.
