@DreamAmerica_ I agree with this approach. Democracy should always be about the majority. Remove gerrymandering for all and clean house by stopping Citizens United pumping dark money into politics. Small things will produce big results. Make it fair for all.

@graceisbest3 @scarletkate @atrupar Quit the hyperbole. States have mostly already accommodated these “hurdles” via documents currently held. Other states will assist when needed. States like Georgia and Indiana hold some of the strictest voter laws and registration went up. The Jim Crowe feint never landed.

@scarletkate @atrupar The problem isn’t ID. It’s that you need a birth certificate to prove citizenship. If you have changed your name from your original, as many married women have, you need proof that you are who your birth certificate shows. It’s an attempt to disenfranchise many voters.

Is there something I am missing here? First of all, no one needs ID to get into a restaurant. That's ridiculous. Secondly, Canadian here - I have to show my driver's license or some other form of idea when I show up to vote. I can't imagine it is any different in the US. If it isn't, please fill me in.
