@RooshWilliams That’s my concern. We did nothing to at least make it difficult. Just simple screen and rolls for them that led to layups or wide open threes. At that point they are feeling it so then they’ll hit the tougher shots

@Ianmac234 Guys I’ve never heard of had career nights hitting wild shots. Was an awful display of defense, but I’m hoping it’s just an outlier. Although I do think facing the injured version of LA could look something similar to this…

This is also why I say, I kind of don’t care about what our role players shoot from 2PT.

building a team around Amen/Sengun who aren’t going to take threes. EVERYONE ELSE HAS to be elite shooters on volume.

I don’t want the Rockets to pick up any player this offseason unless they’re shooting 39% of more from 3 on real volume. I am so tired of our losses being attributed to 3PT volume and percentage.

One thing about Reed not closing: He gained VALUABLE experience watching how Aaron was holding his own on both ends of the floor tonight. Reed wasn’t bad by any means, but if he matches what Aaron did tonight, skies the limit come playoff time.

The Rockets could’ve rolled over and quit after blowing late leads in back-to-back losses to Chicago and Minnesota, but they’ve responded by winning 6 in a row and playing some of their best basketball since December. Encouraging to see them display legit mental toughness.

@BiasedHouston They hit shots but I didn’t think the defense was good in the second half. They got such easy penetration that led to kick out threes then an OREB if they missed. 67 points in the last 20 minutes of the game
