We slept through a lecture and the even sadder part is that the professor didn't even bother waking us up this time..... 😔

In class, if someone's caught sleeping, others quickly nudge him awake… but the way our whole row sleeps, the day we get pointed out will be quite a sight 😂

What have you lost between 2020 and 2025?

There are some phrases we use in medicine with unnecessary words. Every once in a while you’ll come across an attending who hates these so beware. I used to get my notes carved up by one attending in particular: “…no prior history” = no history “multiple lesions” = lesions “not uncommon” = common

Unpopular opinion but eye should be treated the same way as BDS is Why the hell do all students have to study it in detail when someone doesn't even have any interest In it? General info should be given but making it a separate subject and that too as a major is not fair

An average Pakistani PhD holder has problem-solving and intellectual skills comparable to those of a top 25% A-level students. I have no supporting data; its just based on following experience: 🔹️Rarely seen PHDs in best companies in Pakistan. Specially in technology. 🔹️We dont have patents , products or MVPs. 🔹️Non of our industry had indigenous high tech solution.( Military, govt, auto, textile,safe cities) None.... 🔹️Almost nothing in IT, telco and software. 🔹️PHDs in government havent performed at all. The result is that 200 of our SoEs are in shambles. Research doesnt gel in with buerocracy so they hire on contracts to get "projects" done. Although I like people in PIDE & IPRI. 🔹️Very less PHDs in consulting including big 5. (Minus economics and management)
