I agree with you but what is the alternative? As consumers we pay at the petrol pump, VAT - when we die estate duty, if we do well in investments capital gains. If you run a business, income tax, VAT and PAYE are impossible to avoid - unless part of the elite, their companies seem to be exempt - or you’ll be shutdown. Sadly we need to pay - same as rates on our wonderfully honest municipalities who value our properties and force us to pay rates.
